Big Chill Surf Cantina’s Annual Sling ‘N’ Squash is a parking-lot-party take on the classic Punkin Chunkin. With mostly brute strength, competitors participate in three rounds of throwing a pumpkin, by hand, as far as they can. The challenge with this project was to communicate the grit and edginess of the competition, while also providing some context.
